Compare KISS kits by product family, attachment method, and complete contents. Reuse rules and lamp requirements belong to the specified system.
Start with the adhesive supplied
These examples identify different routines within the catalog. A color name, glossy finish, or use of the word gel does not by itself tell you which attachment process is involved. Read the contents and the named product's Use & Tips section together.
| Family and example | Attachment information to recognize |
|---|---|
| Core Design: New Chapter | Separate nail glue supplied for the finished covers |
| imPRESS Design: Like A Star | Pre-applied adhesive with a peel-off backing |
| ICON: Remarkable | Separate tabs and glue, with a specified reuse sequence |
| Salon X-tend: Limousine | Dedicated soft gel adhesive used with specified curing equipment |
Compare a glue-on box with a no-glue box
KISS lists New Chapter from Core Design with 32 nails, 2 g of nail glue, a manicure stick, and a mini file. Its written application directions use the supplied glue on the artificial and natural nails. This conventional attachment routine does not require adding a lamp step.
The imPRESS Like A Star listing instead specifies 30 nails with pre-applied adhesive, a prep pad, mini file, and manicure stick. Its directions involve removing the backing and pressing the nail into place. No glue means no separate glue application for that product; it does not mean the nail has no adhesive.
Count the preparation items as well as the nails. A prep pad listed in one box is not automatically present in another. Choose the attachment routine you can follow, then compare the exact shape, length, and included sizes.
ICON has a specific tabs-and-glue arrangement
The ICON Remarkable page lists 32 nails, 48 separate adhesive tabs, 2 g of glue, two prep pads, two manicure sticks, and a mini file. Its reuse directions specify tabs for the first two applications and glue for the final application, with a maximum of three uses.
That is the manufacturer's stated process for this product, not a tested result or a reuse rule for every KISS nail. If reuse matters to you, read the removal and storage directions before the first application. An intact-looking cover alone does not establish permission to repeat the routine.
Salon X-tend changes the equipment requirement
Salon X-tend is KISS's pre-polished gel-extension system. Its official FAQ requires an LED lamp and distinguishes starter kits, which include a lamp, from other purchasing options. The Limousine nail-kit page lists nails, soft gel adhesive, a prep pad, stick, and file, while separately identifying the compatible lamps.
Read the full system directions before applying it. The FAQ distinguishes positioning with a flash cure from the final cure and gives different instructions for different designs. Do not copy one timing rule across the range. The same FAQ describes these nails as intended for one use, so ICON's reuse sequence does not apply.
Compare the package you will actually use
Write down the family, style, length, adhesive, included tools, and removal supplies. Follow that package's directions if an older listing describes a different version; ask KISS to clarify unresolved differences. A multi-style bundle also needs checking item by item.
Keep removal in the comparison. The conventional glue-on and imPRESS examples publish different removal procedures, and both warn against forcing nails off. Confirm the required supplies before application. The most useful kit is the one whose actual contents and instructions match the routine you intend to follow.
A few common questions
Does every KISS nail kit need a UV or LED lamp?
No. The conventional glue-on and pre-applied-adhesive examples use different attachment methods from Salon X-tend, which requires its specified curing system.
Are adhesive tabs included in every KISS kit?
No. ICON Remarkable lists separate tabs; imPRESS Like A Star has pre-applied adhesive. Check the contents of the exact box rather than assuming either format.
